Mischa Barton was born on the 24th of January, 1986 in Hammersmith, the United Kingdom. The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. Also, she appeared on The Sixth Sense a suspense film. The O.C. The O.C. Alongside her role, she starred in the hit TV show The O.C. Benjamin McKenzie, her lover. Benjamin McKenzie played her love interest. Barton first made an appearance on TV in 1994 as the role of a young Corvina Lang, in flashbacks from the soap opera All My Children. Then in 1996 she returned to All My Children replacing Michelle Trachtenberg who played Lily Benton Montgomery. Katie Singer was guest-starred on eight episodes on the T.V. show Once and Again, as Jessie Sammler's (Evan Rachel Wood) love-interest. In 2001, she was back on film and starred in the indie Canadian drama Lost and Delirious based on the novel The Wives of Bath by Susan Swan. The film got mixed reviews. But the performances of Barton along with the co-stars Piper Perabo and Jessica Pare were widely praised. Julie Johnson, a 2001 film starring Lili Taylor and Courtney Love in which she was the lesbian daughter of an adulterous lady. Barton played a part as a supporting actor in the independent film Tart which starred Brad Renfro and Dominique Swain. The reception she received in Romania was one of hero. Comaneci won two additional medals in gold to her nine total in the Olympics four years later. Comaneci's Olympic total was increased to 9 medals when her medal haul increased to 9 in 1980. won two more gold and two silver at the Olympics. Comaneci and Olympic Champion Bart Conner had a son Dylan Paul in April 1996. The couple own numerous gymnastics related business interests including the Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy. Comaneci is a board member for the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. Comaneci continues to contribute money and time to many charitable organizations like The Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital located in Bucharest.
