Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri was an Indian actress, who gained recognition for her performance in the films Hum Aapke Haiin Koun and Beta Saajan. Her first fame was her role in Tezaab from the 1980s where she co-starred alongside veteran actor Anil Koopor. Then she appeared in the movie Dil in which she was on screen alongside Aamir Khan. Born into an Mumbai middle-class family, and started dancing at a young age. She began acting when she was young and fought through a couple of years since the majority of her first films were flops. She finally found success, and she was one of the most prominent actresses within the Indian film business. Following her marriage the actress took time away from performing until she returned. She was recently a key player in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit was nominated fifteen times to win Filmfare Awards. She won 8 of the awards. Padma Shri is the fourth most prestigious civilian award in India. Her work in the field of social service is popular.
